You Want Your Ad to Be Seen not just glanced at. The first thing you need is a good Headline. An Eye Catcher. What would catch your attention? Then you need at least 3 main reasons why they should check out your site. Keep it short. If I see a long page describing the site, I don't even read it. I hate reading long articles like this one.

Why did you join the site. I am sure there were some good things that caught your eye. Something sold you on it. If not, then why are you doing it? If you have a photo of yourself, this is an excellent addition to the page, plus some other graphic if you have room. Don't over fill the page. It has to load fast and be quick and easy to read.

Now, you don't know where to start with any of the above? There are many sites out there. You need to check them out carefully and read their requirements. Some require a small payment, many require far too much. The free ones are good too but get a lot of the same people seeing your ad. You need a new audience, so don't be afraid to invest a small amount to advertise.

Then one more thing. When you are thinking about what you want to say, remember to type the way you talk. If you talk as if you are talking to one of your friends, not trying to sell someone something, you will find people are much more willing to listen.
